Chemdog

Note: Chemdog is a strain that although popular, has become the subject of much debate and confusion with respect to its origins and crossbreeds akin to the 'Chicken or the egg?' paradox. For obvious reasons the people involved in introducing this strain are shrouded in mystery. The result is a story that sounds like a fairy tale but 'stoner urban legend' is a more appropriate term. The following presentation of this story does not imply its accuracy, but it is seemingly the most coherently articulated 'account'. Most others read like a transcript of the ramblings of a raving madman.

Dying to Get High

Marijuana as medicine has been a politically charged topic in this country for more than three decades. Despite overwhelming public support and growing scientific evidence of its therapeutic effects (relief of the nausea caused by chemotherapy for cancer and AIDS, control over seizures or spasticity caused by epilepsy or MS, and relief from chronic and acute pain, to name a few), the drug remains illegal under federal law.
