White Diamond

About the beloved White Diamond Restaurant in Linden, New Jersey - RIP

This is like the Holy Grail for burger purists. You would go up to this place, and it was a worm hole, like a time machine back to the the dawn of hamburgerdom. This was like Shangrila, Burger-la.  And it had been there 70 years, obviously making the exact same burgers, totally unchanged. When it closed I felt something snap inside me. It was like the Kennedy assassination for burgers. That’s the only way I can describe it."
