James

James is the restaurant of husband and wife team Bryan Calvert (Chef Owner) and Deborah Williamson (Owner Manager), who also happen to live upstairs and grow the restaurant's herbs on the roof of the adjacent building. Before opening James, who many consider to be the best restaurant in the neighborhood, Calvert worked as the personal chef for Annie Leibovitz and Susan Sontag at the couple's upstate retreat.
