Big Nick's

Big Nick’s has been a neighborhood mainstay for hungry Upper West Siders since 1962. Owner Jimmy Galanopoulos certainly knows how to keep his customers full and happy. Even though the restaurant has always been known for its large portions and reasonable prices, it’s the food itself that truly stands out. By using only freshest ingredients and no preservatives, Big Nick’s serves some of the best pizzas, burgers and Greek specialties in New York.

Bon Chon Chicken

If you don't mind eating to techno that blares at un-safe decibels, this is some pretty damn good fried chicken. The waitresses are super cute but busy and forgetful. But again, this is some pretty damn good friend chicken.

Cafe Mogador

Considered a pioneer of Moroccan restaurants in NYC, Café Mogador is a delectable haven at any time of the year. In fact, as the bitter cold sets the tone for a cozy sitting in the restaurant’s warm candlelight atmosphere, the spring allows a refreshing meal on the terrace from which the cosmopolitan East Village scenery can be appreciated.
