Benny's Burritos is a Mexican restaurant in the East Village that specializes in Cal / Mex inspired burritos and casual cusine. The establishment was created in 1987 by a former San Francisco art student who returned to New York unable to satisfy his craving for the quality of burritos he became accustomed to while living on the West Coast.  In addition to Benny's the owner also owns Harry's Burritos on the Upper West Side, both of which offer fresh and healthy ingredients without the use of lard, animal rennet, msg and artificial preservatives.
