Hadar Metal Design

The Burn Clinic is a 6 week series of classes and workshops designed to teach basic welding and metal sculpting techniques. This hands-on course located at Hadar Metal Design Studios in Soho, begins with oxy-cetaline gas welding and blacksmithing techniques then moves into sculptural grinding, shaping and finishing. Each week, class will feature expert demonstrations, hands on instruction, and practice time. Also included are weekend instructive workshops, where students can hone skills and work on individual projects in an open shop environment. Students will also be equipped with tools, protective clothing, eyewear and materials.

The Burn Clinic will teach students everything they need to know about the basics of sculptural welding and metalwork. Class sizes are small, offering individual instruction and guidance. Once the course is completed, students are equipped with a Burn Clinic tool and gear kit to take away for starting their own workshops. In addition, The Burn Clinic also offers advanced welding techniques to more experienced students such as TIG and MIG welding applications.

Please note that while The Burn Clinic teaches basic sculptural welding techniques, it is not a certification class. Graduates of this class will not be certified structural welders.
