The Jungle Brothers are a New York based Hip Hop group mostly known for their involvement with the Native Tongues (a collective that lists A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, and Queen Latifah among its members).  In 1988 the group released their first album, Straight Out the Jungle, a commercial failure but a critical success that featured their seminal hit "I'll House You", produced by the legendary House producer Todd Terry.

The group's follow up album, Down by the Forces of Nature, produced by Kool DJ Red Alert received four stars by Rolling Stone Magazine and has appeared on "Best Hip Hop Albums" lists that run the gamut from the The Face and NME to VH1 and The Source.
