Minimal Wave Radio

Sunday 6-8pm ET

Podcast | Blog

Match your heartbeat to the pulse of an analog synthesizer. Think minimal, from new wave and darkwave, to synth sounds and electro.

Veronica Vasicka was born and raised in NYC. She studied photography at RISD and later was a founding member of East Village Radio. In 2005, she launched the Minimal Wave label and has been focusing on that ever since. Specializing in obscure electronic gems, she loves old new wave, italo and house music. She aims to bring rare recordings to the public via the Minimal Wave label, and also her sublabel, Cititrax, which features newer bands as well as classic house reissues. Aside from her weekly EVR radio show, she also DJs bimonthly in various clubs around NYC.
