In this town to make a name for yourself, you have to earn it and only then will you have a heavy rep. Tom Valenti, the Chef/Owner of Ouest has cut his teeth in NY restaurants for 20 years; Alison on Dominick, Cascabel, and Butterfield 81.
At each haunt Valenti further refined his craft and was bestowed the elusive honorific title by New York Eats' Ed Levine as the "Flavor King of NY". The quality of the courses speaks volumes and its diners all hail at higher volumes for its excellent dishes and atmosphere.
Their bar is a fine place for perching with a pint while gabbing up the bartenders for an authentic New York experience.
