Saxelby Cheesemongers offers a premier selection of American farmstead cheese, focusing on cheeses produced in the Northeastern United States.

Anne Saxelby, proprietor of Saxelby Cheesemongers, has a strong background in American farmstead cheese, having started her career as a cheese maven at Murray’s Cheese in the West Village, and subsequently worked on numerous farmstead dairies in the US and abroad.

Many of the products showcased at Saxelby Cheesemongers are from farms that Saxelby has visited or worked on, highlighting the uniqueness of each cheese with respect to how and where it was produced.
