THE VIAND CAFE

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

Price: Moderate

Hours: Daily, 6am-10pm

Every New York neighborhood needs a good diner; a place where you can eat late, with people of all ages, and have anything that you want, even if that means breakfast at midnight. If you want to fulfill these criteria on the Upper West Side, do not look any further than Viand Café. Whereas many diners are dingy with poor service and standard breakfast, lunch and dinner options, Viand is pristine, friendly and creative with its dishes.

The yogurt parfait is an excellent breakfast alternative or you could mix up your egg white omelette by including shitake mushrooms, goat cheese and basil. The classic Cobb salad is satisfying with the addition of juicy marinated grilled chicken and the Gyro on a Pita is authentic as any in New York. Still have room for dessert? The Banana Split Royale or the homemade New York-Style Cheesecake will hit the spot. Whatever you’re craving, whatever the time and whoever your dining companions may be, Viand will be the perfect choice to satisfy you.
